self-reliance, stewardship, sustainability

Our diverse vegetable & herb crops start as seeds in the farmhouse nursery and rapidly accelerate through adolescence in locally sourced NOP-compliant potting soil.

They’re boosted with organically-derived fertilizers and nurtured to maturity in native, mindfully amended & carefully cultivated living garden soil,

Our all-natural produce is ideal for those responsible families looking for a nearby, small-scale, sustainable & organic grower.

traditional, human-scale cultivation & natural practices

The gardens at Morckel Meadows provide nutrient-rich, flavorful, ethical produce from polycropped, minimally-tilled, and hand-cultivated semi-permanent raised bed gardens.

Our soil health being a top priority, we sincerely scrutinize our treatment of the land and carefully amend our soil with locally-sourced, organic inputs.

*Crop plan is conditional

The ethical stewardship of our project, regarding the resourcefulness of its renewal, natural, and organic inputs as well as its general financial/professional sustainability, is most important to us. Compared with our first two CSA seasons, 2024’s membership will offer a few more opportunities to customize and/or itemize your investment.

In order to better improve our produce quality, operational efficiency, and homesteader lifestyle, and to help eliminate unnecessary waste or the need for expendable materials, we will not have a regular farmers market schedule this season and will only be offering CSA home delivery shares with separately purchased add-ons.

CSA & Surplus Produce

surplus & wholesale produce

We prioritize satisfying our CSA membership before we consider selling any produce to a third party. Once it is clear that our yields are overly abundant, surplus items will be made available for purchase at our online farm store, opportunistically at pop-up markets, and occasionally at local restaurants.

Do you think you could use our surplus produce or do you think we would be a good fit for a collaboration? Tell us about your idea! Inquire about custom crops, wholesale arrangements, and surplus sales below.
